Waiting on a sunny day

So I've been told off - by The Anorak - that La Blog has been a bit quiet of late . Well - things have been ! Spoke to DP the other day and he sent me of a video of George in the paddock but it's on a 'flip' thing and I've yet to get the apt . It would be nice to get it on La Blog . Bruce is fine after his disappointing run latest and trainer and owner have just put it down to wrong tactics - or - shall we say - terrible ride !

And I'm waiting on a sunny day to get down to Kelanne Stud to take photos of mum and daughter . Might be a wait ! But hopefully by the end of the month .

Poor old Kenny Rat went all the way to Doncaster last Saturday evening only to have Dark Emerald withdrawn from his race due to heavy rain and the ground changing to soft . I think they did the right thing - frustrating as it was . He's now going to Sandown on Thursday - much better for yours truly and will be going to support them . Photos to follow .

And as The Anorak says another racing mate of ours - Steve Nelson - had a couple of runners last weekend . I suppose they were both a bit disappointing but Newmarket and York aren't the easiest places to win . It's a long season and their will be more opportunities for them .

And again - me other mate ( yes - there are three ) Nick - who now lives across the Pond - is doing well in his fight against the dreaded C . I know Nicks on a chemo' course so thoughts with ya old bean . Get rid of it and CU soon .
